Opening Day at the Camden Yards
Join thousands of Baltimoreans in welcoming the new season with an opening baseball game in Camden Yards on April 6, 2023. Witness the Baltimore Orioles play against the Yankees to start off the new season with a bang. Catch the opening game, dine in one of the pubs around Camden Yards, or get yourself a souvenir from the gift shop to show off to your friends.

Kinetic Sculpture Race
If you’re looking for a unique Baltimore experience that you’re unlikely to forget, come on down for the American Visionary Art Museum’s Kinetic Sculpture Race! It’s a parade unlike any other, full of colorful, creative floats built by artists from all over Baltimore for a day of pure fun and engineering marvels and mishaps.
Watch as teams row, bike, and drive these amazing moving sculptures all across Baltimore as they compete for the title on May 6, 2023.
American Visionary Art Museum
The American Visionary Art Museum is a visual feast, full of mosaics, sculptures, and various art pieces made by self-taught artists with no formal training. Gain valuable insight into the minds of these creatives and Baltimore’s own artistic culture in this innovative and uniquely Baltimorean museum.

Maryland Science Center
Now it’s time for a science lesson! The Maryland Science Center has everything you could ask for and more with fun interactive exhibits, activities, and hands-on science experiments and encounters for people of all ages to experience themselves.
The Maryland Science Center hosts plenty of special events every month, from planetarium showings to IMAX movie nights. It’s a never-ending world of discovery!
Baltimore Museum of Industry
Learn all about the industrial history of not just Baltimore but the entire nation at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Housed in a repurposed cannery, this museum is home to the oldest surviving steam tugboat in the nation — the aptly named “Baltimore”, first made in 1906.
Marvel at preserved machines and artifacts from America’s rich industrial history and catch eye-opening programs and events that you won’t find anywhere else.
Federal Hill Park
Take a break from lively events and have a moment of leisure and relaxation by taking in the breathtaking view of the city from Federal Hill Park. Once a military stronghold dotted with outposts, Federal Hill has been transformed into a stunning 10-acre park where visitors and locals alike can enjoy a morning jog, an afternoon picnic, or a nighttime stroll.
